Do you offer no-fix-no-fee?
Not as a blanket policy across all jobs. We provide a clear diagnosis and quote first, and we explain any diagnostic charges and repair terms before you commit.
Do you do home visits or collect from my address?
Yes. We offer home visits and collections across Putney, Wandsworth, Fulham, Wimbledon, Richmond, and Roehampton. Call 020 7610 0500 to arrange a slot.
How long does a typical laptop screen replacement take?
Most screen replacements are completed the same day when the panel is in stock. Less common models usually take 1 to 2 working days.
Do you repair MacBooks and iMacs?
Yes. We repair Intel MacBooks and iMacs, and most Apple Silicon models. Common jobs include battery replacements, screen repairs, liquid damage work, and storage upgrades where the model allows it.
Are you cheaper than the Apple Store?
In many out-of-warranty cases, yes. We often quote significantly less than manufacturer pricing while using quality parts and clear repair processes. We always provide a quote before any work starts.
Where are you based?
We are based at 66 Lower Richmond Road, Putney, London SW15 1LL. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Saturday, and we also offer collection across South West London.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Most repairs include a written warranty. Warranty length depends on the repair type and parts used, and we confirm the exact terms before booking.
Can you recover data from a laptop that will not turn on?
In many cases, yes. Even when a laptop fails to power on, the storage can often still be read or recovered. We assess first, explain the recovery likelihood, and confirm costs before any work starts.
How much does computer repair cost?
Costs depend on the fault and parts required. Software fixes usually start from around GBP45, while hardware work is quoted after diagnosis. You receive a clear quote before repair work begins.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both options are available. You can walk in during opening hours, but booking ahead is recommended for faster turnaround and same-day priority jobs.
Do you repair gaming PCs and custom-built computers?
Yes. We diagnose and repair custom desktops and gaming PCs, including boot issues, overheating, crashes, power problems, and upgrade planning.
Can you fix liquid damage on laptops and Macs?
Yes. Time is critical with liquid damage, so switch off the device and do not charge it. Bring it in as soon as possible and we will assess corrosion risk and repair options.
Do you provide IT support for small businesses?
Yes. We support local businesses with onsite and remote IT help, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace setup, networking, backups, and ongoing troubleshooting.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments, cash, bank transfer, and contactless methods. If you need an invoice for business records, we can provide one.
