From £249. The final figure depends on the parts your model takes: SSD capacity, how much memory the board accepts, and what a battery costs for that chassis — some are simply dearer than others. This suits a machine with life left in it, and it isn't right for every laptop. If yours is old enough that the money is better spent on a replacement, we'll tell you that before you commit rather than after. We check the model first and say so if the numbers don't work.

We're a walk-in workshop with a bench and common parts on the shelf, not a booking form that posts your laptop somewhere else. That's the practical advantage: some jobs can be done while you wait, and plenty more the same day. The honest answer is that it depends on the part and how busy the bench is when you arrive.

• Often same day: battery and keyboard swaps, and screen replacements where we hold the panel
• Next day or longer: anything needing a part ordered in, board-level work, and liquid damage

Call before you set off with your model and the fault, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a wait-in job, a same-day job, or one that needs to stay with us. Same-day turnaround is available where parts and workload allow; it carries a surcharge, which we confirm with your quote before any work starts. Counter hours are Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–17:00, closed Sunday.
